Chiropractic Adjustment (Activator Methods® Technique)



Chiropractic adjustment is a method of care designed to correct alignment problems in the body, most commonly in the spine. A chiropractor who uses the Activator Methods® technique works with a handheld, spring-loaded instrument which has a rubber tip. The Activator® adjusting instrument is used to target specific joints, providing a thrust that is designed to move the vertebrae into proper alignment and restore full function to the nervous system.
