Daniel O’Connor, MD
Dr. Daniel O’Connor is a board-certified anesthesiologist and a fellowship-trained interventional pain management specialist who is passionate about providing his patients with hope for a life with less pain. As a physician in the Valley for over ten years, Dr. O’Connor has endorsed a comprehensive, compassionate, and multimodal approach to pain control. In creating Innovative Pain and Wellness, Dr. O’Connor has merged the best qualities of large-scale, cutting-edge medicine and boutique-style one-on-one patient care.
A Chicago native, Dr. O’Connor graduated from Loyola University’s Stritch School of Medicine. He then went on to train with the prestigious department of anesthesiology at Northwestern University. He specialized in regional anesthesia training under thought leaders in the field. Ultimately he was honored as Chief Resident at Northwestern University.
After completing his training, he felt compelled to move to his favorite childhood state, Arizona. He was offered a position in the Valley as a regional anesthesiologist. After much success in providing excellent care as an anesthesiologist, he was granted positions on the board of directors in his group, as well as granted the position of Medical Director of Greenbaum Specialty Hospital with Honor Health.
Although difficult to leave that position, many years ago Dr. O’Connor felt a calling to do more to help patients with acute and chronic pain. He furthered his education with a fellowship in interventional pain management. Dr. O’Connor’s commitment is to a multimodal, comprehensive, compassionate, and holistic approach to increasing his patients’ quality of life and decreasing their pain so that they may enjoy life!
