Dr. Adam Wuollet is a world-class Pain Management specialist who is double board-certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. After being born and raised in Scottsdale, Ariz., he attended the University of Arizona, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with honors in Physiological Sciences. It was during his medical school training that he felt compelled to pursue a career in Pain Management. Utilizing a combination of compassion and his knowledge of physiology he specialized in Anesthesiology at the University of Arizona. During that time he sought out involvement in the care every possible chronic pain patient, some who were referred to the university from across the state. Dr. Wuollet was also highly involved in research aimed at advancing therapies for difficult-to-treat pain conditions and published dozens of articles in well-respected medical journals. Additionally, he has presented at several national and regional medical conferences.
Dr. Wuollet completed a multidisciplinary fellowship in pain management at the University of California – Irvine, through which he further sharpened his skills in the accurate diagnosis and treatment of common and rare, complicated chronic pain conditions. His sub-speciality training was truly unique in that he trained both in complementary and alternative medicine at the world renown Susan Samueli Integrative Health Institute as well in the most advanced, cutting-edge interventional procedures. His interventional interests are both regenerative medicine and neuromodulation, which harness both the human body’s amazing healing powers and the amazing power of the most advanced technology in treating pain. His philosophy centers on providing the best individualized care to patients to improve their quality of life and allow them to continue to live active and healthy lives. He also enjoys collaborating with other health providers, respecting the superior outcomes with true comprehensive treatment, and appreciates the synergism of multi-discipline care. On a personal note, Dr. Wuollet has volunteered both domestically and abroad, namely in Ecuador, where he also studied the Spanish language and Latin culture in addition to indigenous medicine. He also enjoys being outdoors, traveling, and spending quality time with his family. Dr. Wuollet is extremely excited to start helping patients out of his new practice in North Phoenix.
